Xbox One goes region Free

Just like the Playstation 4, Xbox One is now a region free console within China territory. It has received a firmware update which allows to read any game discs, and although not officially confirmed by the company, some users around china claim their console is now region free.

However this update only works for physical games, meaning than any DLC or any other kind of download that isn't available through the Chinese server, won't be able to be downloaded or used in the console for the time being. It may be a matter of time until this changes though.

Must be a great time to be a player in China, with both main next gen consoles region free, the gaming options are almost endless! I wish we could receive the same treat on this side of the world.
